 'I recently had a rather clumsy accident in my kitchen when a casserole dish lid decided to take on the glass door of the main oven! The casserole dish lid won the battle and proceeded to smash my oven door into approximately 5,023 pieces!

I contacted Mark to explain my predicament and firstly explained that the accident was covered which was a relief I had already priced up parts and labour. Mark explained the claims procedure which was as simple as emailing the claim form and estimate to their Knott End office and they would sort the rest.

I sent my email on a Monday and to my amazement I had a cheque in the post on the Thursday, fantastic service!

'Having asked TIC for a quote for Buildings and Contents Insurance for my home on the morning of 4th January I received a phone call that afternoon to discuss the details.

Ten minutes later I received a call back with an offer of cover which was unbelievably favourable.
